The Tuscany Trail, an event that has grown to be one of the biggest bikepacking events certainly in Europe if not internationally, was to be the destination for the Bombtrack team trip in June, 2019.

The Dirty Boar is not a race (although time-measured and a result list is made), rather a social off-road / gravel ride of 170km with an elevation gain of 2.700m. The event is mostly about meeting like minded bike enthusiasts from all over Europe and enjoying the beautiful landscape you might not have seen yet, and an experience you won’t forget.

Our anual Groundwork event is an opportunity for everyone involved in Bombtrack to come together and catch-up, be that the employees, the global team of riders, shops, distributors and various befriend media contributors.

In 2017, Marc Maurer flew to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and cycled a meandering path to the northeast toward Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, riding dirt roads through vast swaths of both countries along the way.

The Dirty Reiver is an off-road cycling challenge at the boardering area of England and Scotland. The ride is based on the gravel grinder format found predominantly in the mid-west of America.

In September 2017 the second edition of our anual GROUNDWORK event took place. This time we swapped rural France for something a little more closer to home, actually so close to home it was only a stone’s throw from our office in Cologne.

October 2016 saw the first ever Groundwork event, held at “La Chateau de Gressoux” in the Franche-Comtéregion of France. The event was a meeting, and indeed a ‘thank you’ to those that helped and still work to build Bombtrack into the brand it is today.
